Southern View Media is proud to announce the Edna Fern Brill Scholarship which will be awarded to a current high school senior at a Mobile or Baldwin County high school. A $1000 scholarship will be awarded to a selected participant for creating the most original, creative, expressive and artistic portrayal of our Gulf Coast area.

The Southern View Media Scholarship Program has been created in loving memory of Edna Fern Brill. Edna appreciated and adored the arts, especially painting and writing. Her appreciation of the local wildlife was revealed through her paintings. She unfortunately passed away due to complications from dementia in 2018.

Art and applications are due on or before April 20th, 2023. We are looking for the most original and expressive portrayal of our local community. There is no fee to apply.

Entries should be delivered to Southern View Media at 25369 US-98 Unit K, Daphne, AL 36526.

The winner will be awarded at the Eastern Shore Business Expo.
